The petitioner is an accused in connection with Kolebira P.S. Case No. 08 of 2019.
It has been alleged that the miscreants had ransacked the house of the informant and looted cash and ornaments and his wife was also murdered. Petitioner has been named on the basis of confession of one Shahbaz Hasim @ Fukfuk and on account of confession of the petitioner, one pair silver payal was recovered, which was identified in T.I.P.
Regard being had to the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence his prayer for bail is accordingly rejected. However, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
