The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letter no. RAO/D1/Rejection dated 04.10.2018 (Annexure-8 to the writ petition), whereby the application for LPG distributorship submitted by the petitioner has been rejected on the purported ground that Clause 8 of the lease deed vitiates the eligibility criteria of minimum 15 years of valid lease period as in view of the said clause, the lease is effective only after the start of construction of godown. Further prayer has been made for issuance of direction upon the respondents to reconsider the petitioner’s claim for LPG distributorship at the advertised location and alternatively, the respondents may be directed to refund the security amount of Rs. 40,000/- already deposited by the petitioner. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the advertisement published on 13.08.2017 inviting application for Gramin distributorship of LPG at Parho Gram Panchayat, district-Koderma under open category, the petitioner submitted her application on 12.10.2017. She thereafter participated in the draw of lots on 27.12.2017 and was declared successful. On being asked by the respondents, she submitted all the requisite documents.
