19/06.02.2018 No one appears for the petitioner. Learned counsel for the Respondent is present.
From the order dated 08.05.2017, we find that appellant had taken away the brief from the learned counsel representing him after obtaining no objection. Earlier on 23.03.2017, the matter was adjourned awaiting appearance of the appellant through another counsel. On 08.05.2017 no one appeared on behalf of the appellant by filing fresh vakalatnama nor was the appellant present. In order to give one more indulgence, the case was adjourned to be listed after reopening of the Court after summer vacation. Though much more time has elapsed thereafter but no one has entered appearance on behalf of the appellant nor any fresh vakalatnama has been filed. It therefore appears that appellant is not interested in pursuing this case. Accordingly, the instant appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution.
