Heard learned counsel for the parties. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing an offence punishable under Sections 8( c), 15, 18 of the NDPS Act.
This is a case of plantation of poppy. There is no other similar nature of case pending against this petitioner.
In view of the aforesaid fact of this case, I am inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Chatra in connection with Pratappur Police Station Case No. 25 of 2018 (G.R. No. 385 of 2018).
