Allegation against this petitioner is that this petitioner and other persons were engaged in demanding extortion money. It is alleged that at the behest of this petitioner the extortion money was demanded.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Bablu Khan @ Enamul Haque has been granted bail by this Court. He further submits that co-accused person who was collecting the money has been granted bail by the court below. The petitioner is in custody since 13.11.2017.

In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Md. Imroj @ Sonu is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Ranchi in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 81 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 3406 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner should appear and mark his attendence before the Kanke police station in the district of Ranchi once in a month, failing which his bail bond shall stand cancelled and the officer-in-charge Kanke police station will take appropriate steps for his arrest.
