Heard Mr. A. K. Ganjhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioners have been made an accused in connection with Rania P.S. Case No. 18 of 2014 registered under Sections 212/186/353/506/120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is vague and general allegation against the petitioners with respect to threat of the extremist organization due to which government schools remained closed for one week. It has further been submitted that petitioners are in custody since 18.2.2015 and some of the co-accused have been acquitted, whereas some have also been granted bail by the court below.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
Regard being had to the general nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, the petitioner Jai Prakash Singh Bhuiyan and Ranjeet Pradhan are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Khunti in connection with Rania P. S. Case No. 18 of 2014 corresponding to G.R No. 306 of 2014(S).
