The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Galudih P.S. Case No. 18 of 2014 registered under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/54 of the Jharkhand Mineral Act.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegation is of illegal transportation of coal on one of the tractors which belong to the petitioner. It has further been submitted that petitioner is in custody since 4.8.2015.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
Regard being had to the nature of allegation as well as period of custody the petitioner Sukumar Pradhan is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Ghatshila in connection with Galudih P. S. Case No. 18 of 2014 corresponding to G.R No. 166 of 2014.
