The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhanbad Bankmore P.S. Case No. 952 of 2014, corresponding to G.R. No. 4415 of 2014, for the offence under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
The case relates to forgery in disbursing bank loan of Rs.3,15,000/- in favour of one Kamal Kumar Singh. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Subsequently, it transpired that the said Kamal Kumar Singh was a fake person and actually the co-accused had taken loan in the name of Kamal Kumar Singh.
The impugned order shows that the petitioner is named in the confessional statement of the co-accused and there is some recovery of forged documents from the petitioner also, but it appears that they do not relate to the present case.
In the facts of this case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, Raj Kumar Singh, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad, in connection with, Dhanbad Bankmore P.S. Case No. 952 of 2014, corresponding to G.R. No. 4415 of 2014.
