2/ 18.06.2015. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Madhupur P.S. Case No.134 of 2011, corresponding to G.R. No. 356 of 2011, Special Case No. 08 of 2012, for the offence under Sections 364, 302, 201, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code & Sections 3(2)(v) of the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
The case appears to be of honour killing and there is direct allegation against the petitioner to have abducted the deceased boy from the train at Madhupur station and subsequently, the dead body of the deceased was found. The bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected on merits by order dated 24.7.2012 in B.A. No. 4509 of 2012.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has renewed the prayer for bail.
In the facts of this case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner Mantu Mandal, is hereby rejected.
