Petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 313, 324, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, in connection with C.P. Case No.1000 of 2013.
Petitioner is the husband of the complainant, and there is allegation against him to have subjected his wife to cruelty and torture for demand of dowry. There are other allegations also in the complaint petition.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner Surendra Kumar Karmali is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro, in connection with C.P. Case No.1000 of 2013.
