3/11.5.2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State as also learned counsel for the informant.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mango (Azadnagar) P.S case No.436 of 2014 corresponding to G.R No.2530 of 2014, for the offence under Sections 498-A, 324, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/ 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The petitioner is the husband of the informant and there is allegation against him to have subjected his wife to cruelty and torture for the demand of dowry.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner, Farhat Jamal Khurshid, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Manoranjan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Jamshedpur, or his successor, in connection with Mango (Azadnagar) P.S case No.436 of 2014 corresponding to G.R No.2530 of 2014.
