Consequential steps on the death of respondent No.1-landlord have not been taken despite number of opportunities granted in between 29.6.2016 to 2.5.2017. Today also consequential steps have not been taken. The statutory period for taking consequential steps even from the day i.e. 29.6.2016, when the petitioner was directed to take

consequential steps stands elapsed. Since the deceased respondent No.1-landlord was the main contestant, therefore, the petition on his death stands abated and the same is accordingly dismissed. Interim order will stand vacated. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
