Claimant is present along with her counsel in Lok Adalat. Insurance company is also represented.
The matter has been settled between the parties at Rs. 27,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Seven Lakh Only) as full and final. An amount of Rs.13,18,982/- has already been deposited by the insurance company before the Registry. The Appellant No.1/wife is directed to withdraw the said amount after proper verification and duly identification by her engaged counsel, if not withdrawn. The United India Insurance Com. Ltd. is directed to deposit the remaining amount i.e. Rs. 13,81,018/- to the appellant No. 1/wife in her savings account through NEFT and out of the aforesaid amount, Rs. 2,00,000/- each be fixed deposed in the name of the minor children of the deceased for three years. The appellant No. 1/ wife is directed to furnish her bank details of any nationalized bank to the insurance company for necessary payment. The amount will be deposited by the Insurance Company within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the order.
