Heard Mr. B. Purkayastha, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel representing the respondent No.1 and Mr. B. Gogoi, learned counsel representing the respondent No.2.
Mr. Chistie and Mr. Gogoi, learned counsel representing the respondents have submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and a speaking order to that extent has already been issued by the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education on 27.03.2023. It is also submitted that the petitioners have presented a challenge to the said speaking order by way of instituting WP(C) No.4676/2023. In view of the above, the contempt petition stands closed.
