Mr. A. Baruah, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted after filing of the contempt application, it is learnt that the erstwhile Principal Secretary, BTC, Sri Anurag Goel has, in the meantime, been transferred from the said post. Mr. Baruah has submitted that as a new incumbent has joined in the post of Principal Secretary, BTC, he needs to bring the order which is not allegedly complied with, to the notice of the present incumbent Principal Secretary, BTC. In that view of the matter, he has submitted that the petitioner may be allowed to withdraw the instant contempt petition, with the liberty to file afresh after bringing the concerned order to the notice of the present incumbent Principal Secretary, BTC.

Having regard to the submissions made, this contempt petition is allowed to be withdrawn, with the liberty, as prayed for by Mr. Baruah, learned counsel for the petitioner.
