The grievance of the petitioner is that he retired from Assam State Housing Board on 31.10.2015. The retirement dues amounting to Rs.8,51,350/- has not been paid to the petitioner.

Mr. T. Gogoi, learned counsel for the respondents submits that in this particular case, the respondents are ready to make payment in 3(three) equal installments, i.e. Rs.2,83,783.33 within 1(one) month. He submits that the first installment of Rs.2,83,783.33 will be disbursed to the petitioner within this week. Thereafter, the second installment will be disbursed within a further period of 10(ten) days, and the third installment will again be disbursed on or before 08.07.2022.

In view of the submissions made by the counsel for the Assam State Housing Board, the respondents are directed to disburse the first installment of Rs.2,83,783.33 to the petitioner within this week. The second installment should be disbursed on or before 28.06.2022 and the third installment should be disbursed on or before 08.07.2022. The payment of the petitioner’s retirement dues on the basis of the rate quoted above and the time period would be applicable only to this particular case, as the petitioner herein has been hospitalized.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
