Heard Mr. L Gogoi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S M T Chistie, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 & 3.

During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Chistie, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 & 3 placed a copy of the order No. PMA(S) 128/2019/32 dated 16.08.2021 of the then Special Commissioner to the Govt. of Assam, Secondary Education Department, which goes to show that in compliance of the order of the Court dated 08.11.2019 passed in WP(C) No. 4029/2017, the Special Commissioner, recommended for payment of arrear salary to the petitioner for the period from 01.12.2006 to 13.05.2008 as he had performed his duties during the said period regularly and as the petitioner did not perform any duty since 12.05.2008 to 16.09.2014 during his period of termination from service, the Special Commissioner clarified that he is not entitled for any salary for the said period.

In view of the above, as the respondents have complied with the said order dated 08.11.2019 passed in WP(C) 4029/2017, noted above, this contempt petition, being devoid of any merit, stands dismissed.
