By this application, the applicant prays for impleadment of one, Dr. Deepak Mazumdar, Commissioner and Secretary, Higher Education Department, Assam and another, Sri Dharma Kanta Mili, ACS, Director of Higher Education, Assam as opposite party Nos. 7 and 8 in the

connected Cont. Cas(C) No. 385/2020, preferred by the applicant, which is presently pending for adjudication.

It is submitted by the applicant that on 18.01.2022, she had informed both the present Commissioner and Secretary, Higher Education Department, Assam as well as the Director of Higher Education, Assam about the pendency of the connected Cont. Cas(C) No. 385/2020 and the order dated 18.11.2019, passed in WP(C) No. 1937/2017, which is yet to be complied with.

Considering the above, the applicant is allowed to implead Dr. Deepak Mazumdar, the Commissioner and Secretary, Higher Education Department, Assam and Sri Dharma Kanta Mili, ACS, the Director of Higher Education, Assam as contemnors/opposite party Nos. 7 and 8 in the connected Cont. Cas(C) No. 385/2020.

Accordingly, this Interlocutory Application stands allowed.
