None had appeared for the petitioner on 15.06.2022 when the matter was called. None appears for the petitioner today when the matter is called. Heard Mr. N. Upadhyay, learned counsel for the respondent contemnors No. 1 and 2 and Mr. R. Ahmed, learned counsel for the respondent contemnor No. 3 Principal Accountant General (A&E), Assam.

Mr. R. Ahmed, learned counsel for the respondent contemnor No. 3 Principal Accountant General (A&E), Assam has produced a communication dated 11.11.2021 from the Senior Accounts Officer in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Assam, by which P.P.O. No. 919711280314 in favour of Shri Haren Deka retired Chowkidar for Rs. 2990/- per month from 01.01.2013 to 31.03.2016 and Rs. 7420/- from 01.04.2016 onwards had been issued and forwarded to the Treasury Officer, Kamrup(Metro).

This contempt petition is instituted alleging wilful and deliberate violation of the direction of this Court in its order dated 09.12.2020 in WP(C) No. 2643/2020, wherein there is a direction to the respondents to take necessary steps for submitting the petitioner’s pension papers to the respondent No. 5 therein, i.e. the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Assam. As the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Assam in furtherance thereof, had already issued the P.P.O. No. 919711280314, we are of the view that there is no wilful and deliberation violation.
