The claimants/appellants Sri Paren Rabha and Smt. Anju Rabha are personally present. The New India Assurance Company Ltd. is represented by the Regional Manager, Mr. Jitendra Gupta.

Both the parties have agreed to settle the claim at Rs. 10,40,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs forty thousand) as full and final settlement of the claim. It is further agreed that the settled amount of Rs. 10,40,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs forty thousand) shall be deposited by the Insurance Company with the learned tribunal within 1 (one) month. The learned tribunal shall ensure that Rs. 4,00,000(four lakh) is fixed deposited in the name of the claimant, Smt. Anju Rabha (wife of the deceased) in a nationalized bank for two years and the remaining amount be released in favour of the claimants in equal share.
