The claimants/appellants Mst. Mafida Begum and Rafizuddin Ahmed are in attendance. M/S New India Assurance Company Ltd. is represented by the Regional Manager, Mr. Jitendra Gupta.
It is agreed by and between the parties to settle the claim at an enhanced amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs) in addition to what has been awarded by the tribunal, as full and final settlement of the claim. It is further agreed that the enhanced amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs) shall be paid by the Insurance Company within 1 (one) month by depositing the same in the joint bank account of the claimants, Mst. Mafida Begum and Rafizuddin Ahmed by RTGS.
The appeal stands disposed of accordingly.
