The present petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 23^rd July, 2026, passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 6568/2026 , whereby, the New Delhi Municipal Council (“NDMC”) was directed to decide the petitioner’s application for repair and renovation of the property bearing no. E-27/4 (Ground Floor), Middle Circle, Connaught Place, New Delhi–110001 , by passing a reasoned order, within two weeks.

Today, learned counsel appearing for the respondent NDMC has handed over to this Court an order dated 16^th September, 2026.

He submits that the said order is a Speaking Order that has been passed pursuant to the directions in the order dated 23^rd July, 2026, as aforesaid. The Speaking Order dated 16^th September, 2026, is taken on record.

Per contra , learned counsel appearing for the petitioner disputes the aforesaid submission and submits that the purported order dated 16^th September, 2026, passed by the respondent NDMC is not a Speaking Order in terms of the directions passed by this Court.

That be the case, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the Speaking Order passed by the respondent-NDMC, the petitioner is at liberty to seek remedies, in accordance with law.

Noting the aforesaid, the present petition is accordingly, disposed of.
