On the last date of hearing, the submission of the petitioner was recorded that the respondent no.1/MCD has only removed back side pillars of the subject property. However, the pillars of the front side still exist. Accordingly, the respondent no.1/MCD was directed to carry out a fresh inspection and take action in accordance with law.

A fresh status report dated 12^th August, 2026 has been handed over in Court by the respondent no.1/MCD.

2.1. The said status report is taken on record.

In terms of the said status report, action was taken by MCD on 27^th July, 2026 wherein the MCD demolished/cut down all the front and back side RCC columns. Photographs of the demolition action has been filed along with action report (Annexure-B to the status report).
