By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayers:

“...a) Pass an order thereby issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to forthwith process, sanction and release the 23 legitimate outstanding dues of the Petitioner amounting to Rs. 05,51,910.90/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Fifty-One Thousand Nine Hundred Ten and Ninety Paise Only) towards the goods supplied and services rendered by the Petitioner to the Office of the District Magistrate, Outer North District during the period 2021 to 2025;

b) Pass an order thereby issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to pay interest @ 18% per annum on the aforesaid outstanding amount from the date each bill became due and payable till the date of actual realization...”

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the petitioner has already filed a representation before the competent authority, regarding the outstanding amount payable to him.

Having heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties, this Court directs the competent authority to treat the present petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner in addition to the representation already pending, and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of this order, under intimation to the petitioner as well as this Court.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court again, in case the need so arises, by way of filing fresh writ petition.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petition, along with the pending application, stands disposed of.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner to any amount, or on the quantum of any amount allegedly due or payable to him.
