The present writ petition challenges the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the Petitioner, including her suspension, the charge-sheet, the constitution of the Disciplinary Committee, the conduct of the enquiry, the Enquiry Report dated 15^th March, 2026 and the show-cause notice dated 10^th June, 2026 proposing removal from service.

pursuant to a memorandum of charge dated 29^th March, 2025. Upon conclusion of the enquiry, an Enquiry Report dated 15^th March, 2026 was submitted and, thereafter, a show-cause notice dated 10^th June, 2026 was issued to the Petitioner proposing the penalty of removal from service.

Ms. Yashmeet Kaur, counsel appearing for Respondent No.1, on instructions, submits that after consideration of the reply submitted by the Petitioner in response to the aforesaid show-cause notice, the Disciplinary Authority has decided to impose the penalty of removal from service and the proposal has been forwarded to the Directorate of Education¹ for approval under Section 8(2) of the Delhi School Education Act, 1973. 4. In view of the aforesaid position, Mr. Sanjay Ghose, Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, after addressing submissions for some time, on instructions, submits that the Petitioner would like to reserve all her rights and contentions at this stage. He further submits that, since the proposal for removal is presently pending consideration before the DoE, the present writ petition may be treated as a representation on behalf of the Petitioner and be considered by the DoE while taking a decision on the proposal forwarded by Respondent No.1.

In view of the above submission, and without entering into the merits of the rival contentions, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the writ petition shall be treated as a representation on behalf of the Petitioner and shall be considered by the DoE while examining the proposal forwarded by Respondent No.1 for approval of the proposed penalty of removal from service.
