By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following reliefs:

order or direction, directing Respondent No. 1 (Bar Council of India) to conduct an individualised reasonable accommodation assessment of the Petitioner, confined to the Petitioner's own case and record, under Sections 2(h), 2(y), 3(2) and 3(5) of the RPwD Act, 2016 - addressing lectures/tutorials, examinations, and moot court/clinical education/internship separately, and applying the reasonable-accommodation standard to each such process of legal education — and to communicate the outcome by a reasoned order within six weeks of this order, without directing any general amendment of the Rules of Legal Education, 2008, with liberty reserved to the Petitioner to challenge any adverse order in accordance with law;

Direct Respondent No. 3 (National Law University, Delhi) and Respondent No. 4 (Consortium of National Law Universities) to act in conformity with, and give full effect to, Respondent No. 1's Rules of Legal Education, 2008 and any reasonableaccommodation determination made by Respondent No. 1 pursuant to prayer (a) above, and not to apply any attendance or admission requirement inconsistent with such determination;

1. Direct Respondent No. 2 (Union of India, DEPwD) to file a short affidavit setting out its position on the accommodation sought;

Award costs of this petition to the Petitioner...”

Having heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties, this Court directs the competent authority to treat the present petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and decide the same, within a period of six weeks from date, under intimation to the petitioner and this Court.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court again, in case the need so arises, by way of filing a fresh writ petition.

In above terms, the present petition stands disposed of.
