By way of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks following reliefs:

“a) Issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction quashing the impugned Memorandum bearing Ref. No. DDUC/F.2008/2026/Show cause/1 dated 02.04.2026 of “compulsory retirement” issued by the Respondents.

b) Issue a writ of mandamus to restore ante the petitioner with all consequential benefits as in the light of facts and circumstances.

c) Issue the inquiry for the erring officials who had harassed the petitioner with malice along with complainant along with the mandate of the POSH act and any other law.

d) Issue an order for a stay on the operation of the Impugned Order dated 02.04.2026 till the disposal of this writ.

Issue notice. The learned counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of respondent no. 1 accepts notice.

No one appeared on behalf of remaining respondents, when the matter was taken up for hearing.

It is not disputed that the petitioner herein has filed an appeal on 12.05.2026 which is pending before the Dean of the Colleges as the appellate authority. Since the petitioner has availed the alternate remedy, of which the decision is still awaited. Therefore, in the circumstances as of the present case, it is directed that the appeal be decided within a period of eight weeks from date, under intimation to the petitioner herein.

In above terms, the present petition stands disposed of.

In case of any further grievance, the petitioner will be at liberty to approach this Court.
