The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the MCD be directed to take necessary demolition and sealing action with regard to alleged unauthorized construction in property bearing no. R/o 22, Road No.56, Punjabi Bagh (West), Delhi-110026.

Learned counsel for the MCD submits that the construction at the property in question has been regularized and no unauthorized construction is currently subsisting therein.

Learned counsel for the owner of the concerned premises, enters appearance and has handed over a communication dated 16.04.2024, wherein, it has been stated as under :-

With reference to your application regarding self regularization of property No.22, Road No.56, Punjabi Bagh West, New Delhi-110026, it is to inform you that the said property has been regularized by this office, as per the plan submitted by you, after depositing regularization/compounding charges of Rs.4,19,077/- vide G-8 receipt No.69464 dated 16.04.2024 and regularization plan has been issued vide file No.93/SR/EE(B)-I/WZ/2024 dated 16.04.2024 under self assessment regularization scheme.
