By this application the petitioner had sought extension of parole granted to him by this court vide order dated 8th February, 2018 on the ground that the surgery of his mother has to be performed. The petitioner filed L.P.A. before this Court wherein the Hon’ble Division Bench vide order dated 1st March, 2018 noted that the original purpose for which the appellant had sought parole could not mature, there was no infirmity in the order of the Single Judge declining the extension of parole. It further noted that in the event of the date of surgery is fixed the petitioner would be at liberty to seek parole, which shall be considered reasonably by the authorities.

After the order dated 1st March, 2018, the petitioner applied for parole to the competent authorities and since no order was passed thereon, the petitioner filed the present application seeking parole.
On a notice being issued, a Status Report has been handed over along with further verification from the doctor. As per the verification, the mother of the petitioner has been admitted in Shakuntala hospital for hysterectomy surgery.
Considering the verification done and the Nominal Roll of the petitioner placed on record this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner for a period of two weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹40,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Mandoli Jail. The petitioner will surrender to custody on completion of the period of parole.
Application is disposed of. Order dasti.
