The limited relief that the petitioner seeks is for a direction to the respondents to consider grant of patta on the land bearing khasra/plot No. 288, total Rakba 2.00 hectare, P.H. No. 51 situated at village Bagardarha, Tehsil Pithaura, District Mahasamund at the earliest.

The learned counsel for the State referring to the pleadings submits that from the documents enclosed along with the writ petition itself reflects that the proceedings are already underway and in all likelihood an early decision shall be taken in accordance with the scheme and the Rules governing the field.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by the counsel for the parties, the writ petition at this

juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No. 2 to 5 to take necessary steps in concluding the proceedings drawn on the application submitted by the petitioner for grant of patta under ' the Scheduled Tribes And Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition Of Forest Rights) Act, 2006' at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
