The challenge in the present writ petition is to a notice issued by the District Collector, District Bijapur dated 18.11.2022.

The notice seems to have been on the basis of the revenue records reflecting the subject land that situates at khasra No. 179/66 & 179/146 which were all part of the original khasra No. 179 measuring 0.020 hectare and 0.012 hectare at village Bijapur, tahsil and district Bijapur being entered as a government land.

That it is only a notice which has been issued calling upon the petitioner to enter appearance before the office of the District Collector and to submit their detailed reply along with all relevant and cogent documents in respect of their contentions. It would not be proper for this Court to subject the said notice to judicial review invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The proper recourse would be for the petitioner to approach the office of the District Collector and to submit her detailed reply to Annexure P/1 dated 18.11.2022. That upon such reply and documents being furnished, the District Collector is expected to take an appropriate decision in accordance with law by a reasoned

order, if the proceedings are still not concluded.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
