According to Respondent No.2, on 23 February 2021 when he had approached the Municipal Corporation in respect of the contract work, the Petitioner asked for Rs.Five Lakhs as extortion money and out of fear, out of amount of Rs.Five Lakhs, Rs.Two Lakhs were given by cash and Rs.Three Lakhs were transferred by bank transfer to the Petitioner.
