By this petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondent nos. 3 & 4 to release the unpaid salary of the petitioners for the period from March, 1999. The petitioners seek a direction to the respondent nos.3 & 4 to regularly pay the salary of the petitioners.
Shri Haq, the learned counsel for the respondent nos. 3 & 4, had stated on the last date of hearing on 28.8.2014 that the salary of the petitioners is already paid and nothing is payable to the petitioners. It was stated that the purpose of filing the petition is served after the salary was paid to the petitioners. Shri Kilor, the learned counsel for the petitioners, had sought only a week’s time on 28.8.2014 to verify the statement. However, today also the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks time. We decline to adjourn the matter any longer.

The petitioner nos. 1 to 3 do not desire to prosecute the writ petition. Since a statement is made by the learned counsel for the respondent nos. 3 & 4 that all the petitioners have been paid the arrears of salary by demand drafts, we dispose of this writ petition with no order as to costs.
