1 Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioners has invited our

attention to order dated 19^th March 2013 passed in Public Interest Litigation No.75 of 2008. By the said order, Public Interest Litigation No.75 of 2008 has been disposed of. Directions have been issued in paragraph 2 of the said order. This present Public Interest Litigation will have to be disposed of in terms of the said directions.

2 Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioners submits that the directions contained in paragraph 2 of the said order have not been

complied with. We are of the view that the first step which needs to be taken for compliance with the said direction is to issue a necessary corrigendum or modification to the Government Resolution which provides for granting aid to the Co-operative Societies formed by persons belonging to Scheduled Castes.

3 We, therefore, dispose of this Petition by passing following order:

a) The Petition is disposed of in terms of directions contained in order dated 19^th March 2013 in Public Interest Litigation no.75 of 2008;

b) The State Government shall issue necessary corrigendum or a fresh Government Resolution for giving effect to the directions contained in order dated 19^th March 2013;

¶17

c) All further steps shall be taken by the State Government for implementation of the said directions as expeditiously as possible;

¶18

d) Petition is disposed of in above terms;

¶19

e) For reporting the compliance, the Petition shall be listed on 7^th July, 2014. Concerned officer of the State Government shall file compliance affidavit on or before 3^rd July, 2014.
