It is contended by the petitioner that the petitioner filed a Revision Petition with the Revenue and Forests Department of the State of Maharashtra. Copy of the said revision memo is at Exhibit “D” to the petition. It relates to challenge to the order passed by the Deputy Director of Land Records dated 30^th January 2012. The revision was filed on 17^th April 2012.

It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, as neither the Revision Petition nor the Stay Petition was decided, the petitioner had to approach this Court.

The learned counsel for the respondent No.5 has no objection if orders on the stay petition are passed first and thereafter the Revision Petition itself is disposed of finally by the State Government.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the State Government in its Revenue and Forests Department would pass appropriate orders on the stay application within four weeks and the main revision petition would thereafter be disposed of finally at the earliest.

For the purpose of preliminary scrutiny the petitioner and the respondent No.5 may appear before the State authorities on 3^rd September 2012.

We direct the State Government to pass appropriate orders on merits on the stay application within four weeks. The petitioner and the respondent No. 5 undertake to cooperate with the hearing before the State Government.

For a period of four weeks the petitioner’s entry in the P.R. Card, if any, shall be maintained. All issues are kept open. The period of four weeks would commence from 3^rd September 2012.

The writ petition is disposed of. Authenticated copy of the order be provided to the requesting parties. The parties to act on the authenticated copy of the order.
