2.Rule. Rule made returnable and heard
forthwith with the consent of learned Counsel for
the parties.

3.Proposals for verification of tribe
claims of the petitioners are pending before
respondent no.2 Committee.

4.The Petitioners claim to belong to
Tokre-Koli Scheduled Tribe and they claim to be
in service of the Maharashtra State Road
Transport Corporation, Jalgaon Division, Jalgaon,

dist. Jalgaon (respondent no.3). A communication
was received by the petitioners issued by
respondent no.3 directing them to submit caste
validity certificates; otherwise, the petitioners
would have to face adverse consequences.

5.Learned Counsel for respondent No.2,
the Committee for Verification and Scrutiny of
Tribe Claims, Nandurbar Region, Nandurbar,
submits that, the proposals for verification of
tribe claims of the petitioners would be decided
on its own merits by the Committee within a
period of six months.

6.We direct the respondent No.2 Committee
to finally decide the proposals for verification
of tribe claims of the petitioners on its own
merits, within six months.

7.The petitioners undertake to cooperate
with the respondent no.2 committee. They shall
appear before the respondent no.2 Committee on
3rd Sept.,2012, at 11 a.m.

8.We do not express any opinion on the
merits of the claim of the petitioners.

9.For a period of six months, no adverse
orders be passed against the petitioners for non
production of tribe validity certificates by the
