The Applicant shall carry out amendment in the Writ Petition within two weeks from today and serve the amended copy of the Petition to the Counsel appearing for the other side within the same time, failing which, the Petition be treated as dismissed, without further reference to the Court.

We make it clear that allowing this Application is not an expression of opinion, either way, on the merits of contentions in the Writ Petition. That will be decided on its own merits, in accordance with law. It will be open to the Respondents to file reply affidavit after the amended copy of the Petition is served on the Counsel for the Respondents.

Subject to above, the Writ Petition be listed on 6^th November, 2012. We make it clear that there is no interim relief granted in this matter.
