1 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail. The applicant is shown as an accused no.6 in a private complaint which has been referred for police investigation by order under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. On perusing the complaint, I find that the main allegation in the said complaint is regarding creation of a false medical certificate by accused no.1 Sajjan Jagganath Pawar. Another application filed by Sajjan Jagganath Pawar for grant of anticipatory bail has been withdrawn today subject to the condition that he may be arrested any time after 16.4.2010. In so far as present applicant is concerned, he is a relative of Sajjan Jagganath Pawar and there is an omnibus statement made in the complaint that the present applicant along with six other relatives conveyed and obtained false medical certificate. That false medical icertificate is the basis on which an earlier offence has been registered by the Pandharpur Taluka police station. Admittedly, that certificate is in the custody of the police. certificate has also been granted anticipatory bail. Taking an overall view of the matter, in my view, the investigation can proceed without custodial interrogation of the present applicant. It is therefore, directed that in the event of his arrest in connection with C.R.No. 238 of 2009 registered by the Pandharpur Police Station, the applicant will be released on bail in the sum of Rs.10,000/ with one surety in the like amount subject to the condition that he will report to the concerned Investigating officer, Pandharpur police station on 29^th , 30^th and 31^st March 2010 from 11.00 A.M and 3.00 P.M and thereafter report to the Investigating officer as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating officer in writing. Application stands disposed off.
