1 This is an application for grant of regular bail. The applicant is shown as an accused
in C.R.No.553 of 2009 registered by the Sangvi police station on the complaint of one Sangmesh Ingavale. The case has been registered by the Police under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 338, 427 read with 34 of IPC. The present applicant had applied for anticipatory bail but has surrendered on 4.2.2010 after his anticipatory bail application was rejected. He has been in custody for a period of about 1 & ½ months. I have perused the medical papers. It appears that though there are some head injuries, there are no fractures on the vital part. The dispute appears to be in relation to a land and there is a suit which is filed which has been decreed against the family of the complainant. It is possible that taking into account the injuries, the conviction, if any, may be for a lesser offence. There appears to be some exaggeration of throwing of a big stone on one of the injured. Taking the over all view of the matter, I am inclined to grant bail to the present applicant.

2 It is therefore, directed that pending his trial in pursuance of C.R.No.553 of 2009 registered by the Sangavi police station, the applicant will be released on bail in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one surety in the like amount subject to the condition that he will report to the Investigating officer once a week i.e on every Monday till the charge-sheet is filed and thereafter regularly attend the Court on all dates unless exemption is granted. Application stands disposed off.
