The petitioner wants this Court to direct respondent No. 1 to implement the Sixth Pay Commission's recommendations as far as the employees of the State of Maharashtra are concerned. Obviously, it is out of the jurisdiction of this Court. It is for the State Government to decide whether the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission, which was appointed by the Central Government, ought to be implemented or not. The Writ Petition is misconceived and dismissed.
