1. The Learned Counsel for the petitioner, states
that, in view of the decision of the Supreme Court
rendered in Mardia Chemicals Ltd vs. Union of India
and Ors reported in AIR 2004 SC 2371, he seeks to

withdraw the petition and submits that in the mean
time, the ad-interim order granted by this court in
terms of prayer clause (f) may be continued for a
period of six weeks to enable the Petitioner to take
recourse to such remedies available under the
Secrutisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets
and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002. We
permit the petitioner to withdraw the petition with a
direction that the interim order granted by this
court by the order dated 20.4.2003 shall continue to
remain in operation for a period of six weeks.
Petition dismissed as withdrawn.
2.In view of the withdrawal of the Petition
itself, Chamber Summons No. 392 of 2006 does not
survive and the same is disposed off accordingly
