Learned Counsel appearing for the Corporation
submits that the complaint filed by the petitioners in
relation to the proposed rateable value of Rs.3 crores
and odd is still pending before the Investigating
Officer. She further states that the same shall be
decided and appropriate order fixing rateable value
shall be passed within four weeks from today.
2. In view of the statement made by the learned
Counsel for the Municipal Corporation, nothing
survives in this writ petition and it is dismissed as
such.

3. Obvious consequences would be that the Corporation
cannot recover money from the petitioners on the basis
of the value fixed by them being Rs.3 crores till the
complaint is decided.
