1. This is an application for
modification of the bail
condition. It appears that the
bail was granted by order dated
23.11.2005 passed by the Vth
Addl.Sessions Judge, Pune. The
applicant is not a person who
was involved in the dacoity. It
appears that he obtained 19 k.g.
silver and passed it on to the
jeweller who is accused no.8.
The total value of the goods is
about Rs.1,50,000/-. Taking an
overall view of the matter and
taking into account the fact
: 2 :
that the jewellery is recovered
from the jeweller and the
applicant was only an
intermediatory person, I feel
that ends of justice would be
met if the amount of PR bond and
surety is reduced to
Rs.50,000/-. Hence amount of PR
bond and surety is reduced to
Rs.50,000/-. All other
conditions of bail are remain as
it is. Application stands
disposed of.
