This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following main prayer:

“…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 1^st respondent in issuing impugned memo No.24823/Legal.II/A2/2014 dt. 27.12.2016 by rejecting petitioner application for appointment of any suitable post under the compassionate grounds due to the death of the petitioner husband namely S.Umapathi, CT 2934 by not considering representation of the petitioner is illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and to allot any suitable post under the compassionate grounds in the interest of justice and to pass such other order or orders…”

2 In view of the letter dated 11.02.2026 addressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner to the Registry seeking permission to withdraw the writ petition, permission is accorded and this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
