There is no representation for the petitioner, though the matter is posted today under the caption ‘For Dismissal’. Even on earlier occasions, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Sri R. Mallikarjuna Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, representing the respondents, on written instructions, submits that the police have completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned V Additional District and Sessions Judge – cum – Special Court for Trial of SC/ST (POA) Cases, Nellore.

In view of the same, the cause in the Writ Petition no longer survives for further adjudication and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the proper forum for necessary redress in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
