The present Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the Respondents in not paying salary to the Petitioner from 01.08.2024 as illegal and arbitrary.

The Petitioner was appointed as Bare Foot Technician under MGNREGS on 04.10.2017. On account of certain allegations, the Petitiner was suspended in the year 2019 and was reinstated as Bare Foot Trainee at Ramakuppam by the

Project Director, DWMA/Respondent No.6 vide R.C.No.K8/159/2022, dated 30.07.2024.

The grievance of the Petitioner is that though the Petitioner has been working as Bare Foot Trainee, the salary is not being paid to the Petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Sri M.S.R. Murthy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent Nos. 3,4,5,6,7 and 9 would submit that the Petitioner’s Job Card bearing No.AP-10-064-022-059/010060 could not be activited in MGNREGA NIC Portal due to technical

issues and the same would be processed within a short time and the salary of the Petitioner will be credited to the account of the Petitioner.

Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of with following directions:

i) The Respondent Authorities are directed to take necessary steps for activating the Petitioneer’s Job Card and credit the salary to the Petitioner’s account within a period of 8 weeks from today.

ii) There shall be no order as to costs.

¶35

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
