State Housing Corporation who superannuated on 30.11.2021, filed this writ petition for non-payment of the admitted amount of Rs.5,24,700/- towards encashment of 300 days earned leave computed as per the proceedings of Respondent No.7 in Rc.No.863/A1/2022, dated 13.12.2022. Though the Managing Director of the Corporation had, by letter dated 10.11.2022, directed the District Head Housing, Krishna District to draw and disburse the earned leave encashment, payment was withheld. ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed for non-payment of admitted amount of Rs.5,24,700/- towards 300 days earned leave as per the proceedings of Respondent No.7 in Rc.No.863/A1/2022, dated 13.12.2022.

The Petitioner was initially appointed as Work Inspector in the year 1984 and after completion of service he had retired on 30.11.2021 on attaining the age of superannuation in the cadre of Work Inspector in the Respondent No.5-Corporation. While so, the Petitioner was not paid earned leave of 300 days encashment as on the date of retirement. The Managing Director of Respondent No.5-Corporation addressed a letter on 10.11.2022 directing the District Head Housing, Krishna District to draw and disburse the earned leave encashment to the Petitioner. As the same is not being disbursed, the present writ petition is filed.

Sri K.Mallikarjuna Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for A.P. Housing Corporation, on instructions, submits that the amount claimed by the Petitioner is not in dispute. The bills were

also uploaded in CFMS portal and the payment would be made shortly.

In the light of the submissions made, as there is no dispute about the amount claimed by the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to disburse the amount within a period of two (2) months from today. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall

stand closed.
