The Court made the following Order:
The petitioner was appointed as a contract conductor and was involved in a cash and ticket irregularity on 27.07.2006. A charge sheet was issued on 09.08.2006 and an enquiry was conducted and the disciplinary authority passed an order of termination dated 05.04.2007. The petitioner exhausted his appeal and review before the competent authorities in vain. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an I.D before the Labour Court vide I.D.No.4 of 2009. The Labour Court passed an award directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service and all other attendant benefits, but without back wages.
