This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief;

... to issue a Writ, Order or direction particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities in conducting investigation in pursuance of the Crime No. 325/2020 dated 20/09/2020 Kankipadu Police Station, Krishna District registered for the offences punishable u/s 405, 506 IPC in accordance with procedure contemplated u/s 157 of Cr.P.C as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and also violations of I Articles 14,-16, 19 and 300A of the i Constitution of India and consequently J direct the respondents to complete the f investigation in 20/09/2020 and pass...”

Grievance of the petitioner is that though caseⁱⁿ Crime No.325 of 2020 of Kankipadu Police Station, Krishna District was registered in the year 2020, police are not completing the investigation.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the poliee conducted investigation in the aforesaid crime and filed final^report before the V Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada vide C.F.No.455 of 2024, dated 17.1.2024, referring the case as civil in nature.

In view of the said submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner to avail remedies^available to him under law. No costs
