ORDER :

The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

“…to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 2^nd respondent in ratifying the admission of out of state students admitted to the 2^nd Petitioner institution in Polytechnic Course for the academic year 2023-24 as being illegal arbitrary unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith ratify and approve the admissions out of state students numbering 13 listed in Annexure P3 admitted in the 2^nd petitioner institution under the left over vacant seats (spot admissions) category and treat the said admissions as valid for all purposes ..”

Heard Sri P. Badrinath, learned counsel for the petitioners, and learned Government Pleader for Technical Education for the respondents and with their consent, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the present matter is squarely covered by the common order passed by this Court on 20.11.2009 in W.P.No.24581 of 2009 and Batch; therefore, they have no objection, if this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.

The learned counsel for the petitioners also reported no objection for disposing of the present writ petition in terms of the aforesaid order.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is allowed in terms of the common order, dated 21.11.2009, passed in W.P.No.24581 of 2009 and Batch. No costs.

The Registry is directed to enclose a copy of the common order, dated 21.11.2009, passed in W.P.No.24581 of

2009 and batch along with this order.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
